I was born in Athens, Ga while my father attended the UGA College of Veterinary Medicine; our family lived in the married student housing just in front of the College.
I remember living in an apartment above the 1st animal hospital my father worked after he graduated. Our house was just off the parking lot of his second animal hospital. I literally “grew up” around veterinary medicine!
I often was rounded out of bed to go on animal emergency calls with my father as specialized “emergency clinics” were unheard of in my preschool/grade school years. In 1988 I graduated from the UGA College of Veterinary Medicine. I opened my first veterinary practice SweetApple Animal Hospital in ‘92 in Alpharetta, GA.
My wife Catherine helped me walk even the biggest of dogs on weekends as newlyweds in our young business! Now our children Armando, Emily, and Corell eagerly pitch in with walking dogs, feeding our clinic kittens, and helping with office and landscaping work at Hill High Animal Hospital.
Our two brave rescue dogs Puppy and Lilly watch over our home ‘round the clock. My father and I have teamed together with our skilled veterinary associates at Hill High Animal Hospital to help serve you and your pets.
